Cloud Applications

Cloud has changed the way I work
Web development and cloud hosting has undergone significant transformation in recent times. In the midst of these changes, I have had the opportunity to work closely with a myriad of cloud hosting environments and develop a range of online web and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
My cloud toolkit
My toolkit has expanded to include dotnetCore, Node.js, TypeScript, and Bun.sh, alongside leveraging microservices, APIs, and cloud based message queues. These tools and technologies have enabled me to deliver robust solutions to high-end commercial clients, navigating the complexities of modern software development with agility and precision.
AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
The integration with various cloud hosting environments has been a cornerstone of my work. Each project presented unique requirements and challenges, from ensuring scalability and reliability to maintaining security and compliance standards. Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud have been instrumental in providing the infrastructure needed to deploy and manage the diverse applications I’ve built. By harnessing the power of these platforms, I’ve been able to focus on innovation and performance, ensuring that the applications are not only robust but also optimized for the cloud environment they reside in.
Some of the projects that I’ve demonstrated these skills are included below.
Projects completed
- propella.office - Microsoft Azure containers, microservices, dotnetCore, Vue.js, docker, Databricks
- Document Control System for Glenelg CMA - NGO utilising secure Microsoft 365 cloud, Microsoft Azure
- ITCR Dashboard for Cummins / Meritor - Secure Microsoft 365 cloud, Digital ocean droplets / apps / container registry
